The openmotor project is dedicated to the design and implementation of a modular engine management computer (ECU). It was started as a result of discussions on the diy-efi mailinglist following Steve Donegan's announcement that he was working on some modular ECU ideas.

Initial hardware and software design is underway, with some sample boards already produced.
